A Little Give & Take

Good morning, Family and Friends! Happy Sunday! Today’s message is very simple. We all want God to take care of us and fix everything for us, but what are we doing for Him? If you’re putting God first in your life, and staying in faith, He’s got your back! But it shouldn’t be a one-sided, all take and no give relationship. 

Joshua 1:8-9 – “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Need vs. Want – Don’t Get Confused! 


Good morning, Family and Friends! The Lord put it in my heart this morning to talk to you about being thankful for what we already have. Nowadays, we see people chasing around after what they think they need. The new iPhone 7, some fancy car, a big house…. and there’s nothing really wrong with having those things as long as you keep your perspective and realize you don’t NEED them. The past few years in my life have been very eye-opening as far as what we want compared to what we need, and I’ve learned what true blessings are. There was a time when my husband and I made a lot of money, had large house, nice car, and fancy iPhones for everyone in the family. BUT…. the family was falling apart. My husband and I were getting a divorce, the kids were having trouble in school and out, and everyone was miserable. Some decisions were made, and life changed dramatically. We now have so much LESS in the material things, but so much MORE in the most important areas – God and family. Our kids are doing amazing things with their lives, and our marriage is still intact and doing better than ever. Is life perfect? No. But now we fully understand what’s truly important, and we tend to focus on that as being what we need. Sure, we still want things, but we now know we don’t NEED them, and so we make better choices. Be thankful for what you have. Let go of what you don’t need. And always, always always – put God first, family second, and all the rest will come naturally. 

Philippians 4:4-8 says – “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things”

“Never Give Up, Never Surrender!”

One of my favorite things about God, is that He is a God of second chances. Jeremiah 29:11 – “I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for.”

My favorite movie line is from Galaxy Quest – Captain Peter Quincy Taggart,  played by Tim Allen. They just go so well together, don’t you think?  

Judge Not…..


Good morning,  Family & Friends! Happy Saturday! I want share with you something  I wrote a while back, after seeing so many hateful posts show up in my news feed.

Let’s try to remember a few things…

Not ALL women think men are idiots.

Not ALL men are abusive to their wives or girlfriends.

Not ALL men cheat.

Not ALL women are faithful.

Not ALL republicans are bad.

Not ALL democrats are good.

Not ALL Christian’s hate homosexuals & lesbians.

Not ALL Christians are crazy religious fanatics.

Not ALL “Christians” are Christians.

Not ALL white people are racist.

Not ALL Islamic people are terrorists.

Not ALL teenagers are disrespectful.

Not ALL adults are polite.

Not ALL people on public assistance or SSI are drug abusers or alcoholics.

Not ALL drug abusers & alcoholics are unemployed.

Not ALL poverty level parents abuse or neglect their children.

Not ALL financially stable parents are kind & loving to their kids.

I could go on and on, but by now, I hope you get the idea. What I’m really trying to say is… For every finger you point, there are at least 7 more pointing back at you. Don’t generalize. Don’t stereotype. Judge not, lest you be judged. Walk in faith, hope and love. Treat others the way that you would like to be treated. It’s really pretty basic common sense, but if everyone in the world did it, think how much better things would be! It all starts with one person. Be the change you want to see in others! 
As always, I pray this is a blessing to you, and I pay the Lord forgives your sins, keeps you safe, and blesses you greatly, in Jesus’ name, amen!

Let It Go! 


I know this is late, but it’s been quite a day! However…. I just want to remind you that forgiveness works two ways. It benefits not only the person being forgiven, but the person doing the forgiving. Letting go of toxic feelings and forgiving someone heals your own spirit as well as theirs. Love is the law.

May God bless you, forgive you, and help you to forgive others, in Jesus’ name ❤
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 says,
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.”

Shelter Me

psalm7_1Good Morning Family & Friends! Today, I’d like to share with you one of my absolute favorite songs. Now I’m honesty not a fan of Christian music, and to see the lyrics you’d think that’s what this is. It may very well be considered such, but this is an awesome rockin’ blues song with a mean guitar riff, and it sums up how I feel about the Lord, so give it a listen. Those of you who’ve watched the TV show Sons of Guns have already heard part of it, because they used it for their theme, however it’s not about guns, which I honestly have no problem with when used responsibly! Okay, the caffeine has officially kicked in, so I’m gonna leave this right here. Have a very blessed day!

You Can Do All Things

il_fullxfull.346402810.jpgGood morning, family & friends! Today’s message is short but direct. Remember that you are a child of God and as such, you are not alone. You have the ability to overcome whatever battles may be in your life, because you have the Lord on your side. Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Jesus is Lord and gives us His strength. I pray God protects you, heals you, forgives your sins, and keeps you strong – In Jesus’ name – Amen!

There’s Still Hope

prayGood morning, Family & Friends! Happy Monday! Today, I’d like to talk to you about seeking the Lord and praying for forgiveness.
Nowadays, we have people saying, “This country is going straight to hell!”. The problem is…. they’re right. HOWEVER….. as we see in 2 Chronicles 7:14, God says, “If my people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
So there’s still hope! We’ve been given exact instructions on how to operate the Train To Hell, if you will – turn it around, and get back on the right track! We have the information! There’s still a chance, and it’s not too late – YET!
Does that mean we should wait till the last minute? Just live life in whatever way we’ve been living until the time comes to panic and change everything because SUDDENLY, there’s actual visual, audible, physical PROOF that the end is here, and Jesus is coming? Let me answer that question with another question – Are you happy with the world we live in and the way things are going?
NO! Me either!
The bible says in Matthew 16:26 – “What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?”
C’mon folks…. if God made you – and whether you believe it or not, He did – don’t you think He knows what’s in your heart and on your mind? He know who’s earnestly trying to do the right things, and He knows who’s waiting till the last minute to say, “Take me too!” when that Train To Heaven gets here.
Even if you’re not concerned for your own soul, what about your family? Your children? This world we live in is a harsh place, but that could all change if we all just get together and do as the Lord suggests – “humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
In other words; Make the world a better place NOW by changing what you’re doing NOW. Pretty straightforward. Like anyone who loves their family and friends, I want you all to be safe, be blessed, and be together in heaven.
I implore you all to do as it says in Matthew 6:33: “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
What things? Good things. Believe me… anything you think is good here is NOTHING compared to what God has in store for you IF you put Him first in your life. It all starts with YOU.
I pray this message will be a blessing to you in some way. May the Lord bless you, watch over you, protect you and guide you, in Jesus’ name – Amen.

1 Minute Prayer For Peace In America

I think this is a wonderful idea, and will be making it a regular habit. Who will join me? You don’t have to go anywhere, talk to anyone or spend any money. Just stop what your doing for just 1 minute each night – 6pm Pacific, 7pm Mountain, 8pm Central, 9pm Eastern – and join me and others around the nation to pray for peace in our country.
